RAGA Antidote 40, by Vladimir Krasnov

Dear friends of the Russia & America Good Will Association (www.raga.org) and antiwar colleagues!

Merry Christmas, Delightful Diwali, Ecstatic Eid, Happy Chanukah, Whatever Holidays, and a prosperous New Year to you all!

This Antidote 40 newsletter follows both 39 and 39A which came out in quick succession around Thanksgiving due to my unexpected interview with Dr. Kevin Barrett on November 25. Now you can follow it, free of charge, on RAGA.

On December 11, the interview was posted on the Veterans Today site, run by patriotic US war veterans tired of US foreign misadventures. Vladislav “George” Krasnov: Is the USA becoming monologic and totalitarian?
By Kevin Barrett - December 11, 2017.  Below is part of interview introduction:

Is the cure for what ails international, intercultural, and interfaith relations dialogue, dialogue, and  more dialogue? Are the many varieties of secular humanism—including Marxism, Zionism, and ARRF—generally even more intolerant than the traditional religions they oppose and supplant? Are Americans and Israelis unusually insensitive to the voice of the Other? Is Mikhail Bakhtin’s theory of dialogism and polyphony the key to world peace?  Listen to this interview and reflect…

Among a number of responses I got, the more focused is this one by "Johnny America"
“Today, (one) wonders whether Russia and the United States have switched places: Now it’s the USA that surveys its citizens, doesn’t tolerate dissenting voices, and insists on inflicting its mendacious official perspective on everyone, everywhere; while Russia has left Communism behind and emerged as a pluralistic nation, whose worst “crime” (according to the Masters of the Universe in Washington) is allowing Western dissidents to reach a larger audience via RT and Sputnik.”

Below is a forward by an old friend in which he merges serious topics of US foreign and domestic policy with Christmas frolics

Dear Fellow Citizen:

I have created e-cards from three YouTube selections.  At least one of them is guaranteed to make you laugh.  Here they are:

    (a) Watch Santa Claus and ordinary people screw up Christmas just like the people who have screwed up the Fukushima fallout "civil defense response," "Russiagate," Charlottesville "police protection" of lawful demonstrators, the Las Vegas false flag "movie," "disaster protection" for the people hit by hurricanes in Puerto Rico and Houston- -not to mention wildfires in California --and last but not least, the people on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) who screwed up net neutrality on December 14th!  See it here:  https://www.original-cards.com/pickup/DEC-24-DA-09-VZ.html
    (b) Santa Claus encounters the burgeoning American police state.  See it here:   https://www.original-cards.com/pickup/DEC-24-SD-09-SM.html
    (c) A snowman scares the hell out of pedestrians!  https://www.original-cards.com/pickup/DEC-24-XP-09-WS.html

Have a Wonderful Winter Solstice, a Cool Yule, a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!   Best regards,

RAGA certainly share with Bill Fox his concern with the FCC's anti-democratic decision abolishing net neutrality.
Democracy International. Internet Totalitarianism: Shaping Minds and Ideas. 17/12/2017

The end of net neutrality and the fight to defend the free Internet
The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) voted Thursday to overturn rules, known as net neutrality, that required Internet service providers (ISPs) to treat all data on the internet the same and prohibited them from limiting or blocking users’ access to web sites and services.
The ruling heralds a new age in internet communications, where giant internet and technology monopolies like AT&T, Verizon and Comcast regulate what information people have access to.

As a matter of fact, I wrote a letter to the director of the FCC demanding net neutrality.7/1/2014

Meanwhile, the events keep rolling on, sometimes contradicting each other. One the one hand, NATO is Escalating War on Russia, 17/12/2017
Canada has taken a lead among NATO countries in approving heavy weapons sales to the government and armed forces of Ukraine. The Liberal Party government of Justin Trudeau announced the decision on Dec. 13.
Moreover, Canada's government supports Kiev's junta which discriminates against Russian-speaking Ukrainians even though Canada prides itself for preserving French language in Quebec.  Professor Nicolai Petro of the University of Rhode Island reports

On the other hand, Kremlin points to CIA terror plot tip off as shining example of US-Russia cooperation:
MOSCOW, December 18. /TASS/. The US Central Intelligence Agency's information handed over to Russia about preparations for a terrorist attack in St. Petersburg is a perfect sample of US-Russian cooperation in the struggle with terrorism, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has told the media.
"Certain contacts between the two countries' special services are sporadic, but in this particular case it was a very useful piece of information that helped save many lives. This cannot but evoke satisfaction and a feeling of gratitude and be interpreted as a perfect sample of bilateral cooperation in the struggle against terrorism. This is precisely the kind of standards worth pursuing in our future course."

David Stockman, President Reagan's Budget Director, wrote a very revealing summary of US contradictory foreign policy26 Years of US-Led Wars Since the USSR Ended - We Could Have Had Peace
" ... during the past 26 years Imperial Washington has lost all memory that peace was ever possible at the end of the cold war. Today it is as feckless, misguided and bloodthirsty as were Berlin, Paris, St. Petersburg, Vienna and London in August 1914."   Nov 27, 2017

Highlights:
--The end of the cold war meant world peace was finally at hand, yet 26 years later there is still no peace because Imperial Washington confounds it.
--The man (George H.W. Bush) should never be forgiven for enabling the likes of Dick Cheney, Paul Wolfowitz, Robert Gates and their neocon pack of jackals to come to power----even if he has denounced them in his bumbling old age.
--By opting not for peace but for war and oil in the Persian Gulf in 1991 he opened the gates to an unnecessary confrontation with Islam and nurtured the rise of jihadist terrorism that would not haunt the world today save for forces unleashed by George Bush's petulant quarrel with Saddam Hussein.
---That giant lie was almost single-handedly fashioned by the neocons and Bibi Netanyahu's coterie of power-hungry henchman after the mid-1990s. Indeed, the false claim that Iran poses an “existential threat” to Israel is a product of the pure red meat domestic Israeli politics that have kept Bibi in power for much of the last two decades.
--But the truth is Iran has only a tiny fraction of Israel's conventional military capability. And compared to the latter's 200 odd nukes, Iran has never had a nuclear weaponization program after a small scale research program was ended in 2003.
--The 1991 CNN glorified war games in the Gulf also further empowered another group of unemployed crusaders. Namely, the neocon national security fanatics who had misled Ronald Reagan into a massive military build-up to thwart what they claimed to be an ascendant Soviet Union bent on nuclear war winning capabilities and global conquest.

In view of the growing and unpredictable aggressiveness of US foreign policy, I endorsed a collective letter to President Vladimir Putin written by Dr. Leo Semashko on behalf of the Global Harmony Association calling him to greater vigilence for preservation of world peace.

For other events, related to Russia, read the report by Patrick Armstong, a former Canadian diplomat

PRESIDENCY. Putin said he’ll run again. This will be his last term – he will be 72 at the end – so, apart from anything else, he will be grooming a successor. He will be elected. And for good reason: you’d vote for more of the same too. Quick summary of today’s press conferenceEnglishRussian.

Also Armstrong:
MUST READ. Gilbert Doctorow’s presentation of his book Does the United States have a future? He starts: “I will explain why a book about the United States failing on the world stage deals so largely with what is happening in Russia.” The neocons and their liberal allies, in their overreach, had to attack Russia “Because it has been the only major power to publicly reject the US global hegemony both in word and in deed.”

Armstrong's prediction:
NEW NWO. Putin’s trifectaAssadSisi and Erdoğan all on the same day. Trapped in their misinformation bubble most Westerners can’t see it, but Moscow is establishing a reputation in the rest of the world for competence and reliability. China ditto. The world is readjusting itself. We approach a tipping point, I think, in which the reality can no longer be hidden. I am stunned by the speed of the decline: only a quarter of a century ago the West was triumphant in everything.

Nobel Peace Prize winner ICAN warns nuclear war 'a tantrum away'. 10 December 2017
The world faces a "nuclear crisis" from a "bruised ego", the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (Ican) has warned in an apparent reference to US-North Korea tensions.
Accepting the Nobel Peace Prize on Sunday, Ican's executive director Beatrice Fihn said "the deaths of millions may be one tiny tantrum away"."We have a choice, the end of nuclear weapons or the end of us," she added.

"We have a choice, the end of nuclear weapons or the end of us," she added...Speaking at the ceremony in Oslo, Ms Fihn said "a moment of panic" could lead to the "destruction of cities and the deaths of millions of civilians" from nuclear weapons. The risk of such weapons being used, she added, was "greater today than during the Cold War".

As it turns out, Russia is not the only headache President Trump needlessly created: Jerusalem, North Korea, Iran. RAGA's asociates from Washington DC, Maryland and Israel report
“Russiagate” Is Actually “Israelgate”: Trump as “Agent of Israel”, Not of Russia? By Eric Zuesse, Global Research, December 21, 2017
This was being done for Netanyahu, not for Putin. As the New York Times reported this,“Mr. Flynn asked Russia to intervene at the United Nations on behalf of Israel.”
Furthermore, Putin’s answer to Kushner’s request for Russia to veto or at least delay the “United Nations Security Council resolution condemning Israel for its settlement policy” was the exact opposite of what Netanyahu-Kushner were requesting: Russia voted in favor of the resolution, not weakened it — much less vetoed it, as Netanyahu-Kushner were urging.

International Bodies Fail to Understand the Middle East Crisis
Part I – Trajectory to Total War
One sentence summarizes the Zionist expansion from an incursion to ultimate takeover of Palestinian lands - the Zionists act aggressively and the world bodies re-react passively. Institutions that defend the world community and protect regional interests have failed to understand the Middle East crisis, failed to recognize the dangers posed by the Zionist expansion, and have subverted their constituencies. These failures prevent formulation of an acceptable plan and a concentrated effort to resolve the perilous situation. Those who argue that the Middle East crisis is beyond comprehension and resolution are deceiving the world; proper thought leads to basic actions that can turn an impending catastrophe into a manageable situation http://www.alternativeinsight.com/Trajectory_to_Total_War.html

Jerusalem in My Heart
ISRAEL SHAMIR • DECEMBER 16, 2017
Jerusalem is first of all a symbol, and a potent one; the American recognition of Jewish sovereignty over the Holy City is a sign of the final Jewish victory over Christianity, and it is to be deeply regretted. Richard Coeur de Lion and Tancred would not understand this surrender of the city they fought for, but the times have changed. The Christians of yesteryear did not refer to Jews as their “elder brothers”. What began with Americans saying “Season greetings” instead of ‘Merry Christmas,’ ended with this shameful act of Christ denial.
